Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft, and becoming fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. They encouraged her not to pursue music solely for pleasure or as a means of development but instead, she was encouraged to pursue it. They inspired her to write. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as a love for Bjork's style. She began performing her music in public when her mother said they might help others not to gain fame with her work but to make those around them see their own importance and how they can affect the world. As a young girl She began playing the piano and at nine was writing music. It was unknown to her family until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her dream. The only thing she loves is writing songs. She claims that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
